Introduction Lost in Time

Some of you may have noticed but on the testserver has been tested a brand new map the last couple of weeks , named MH-LostInTime. This map is being created by Derderak2rot, the map is not yet finished. The storyline is as follows:

The Skaarjs have found a way to travel in time, they were looking for this since a very long since they do want to change the history of worlds. They have setup the first port to history on our mother earth. So they can change our history and prevent us from even existing. When you enter the teleporter you will be moved to a time where the dino's ruled mother earth. Your job is to remove skaarjs from that timeline and destroy the skaarj generator so they can not come back. So take you best team with you for this job. Us human kind needs you more then ever.

Spawn Room

The spawn room is the start room where you enter the level when you firstly join or when you recover from death by skaarj for example. Also you see some weapon pickups, use those weapons to fight your way trough the corridors to the time machine.

Here you see a corridor you have walk trough. Kill all the skaarjs you find on your way.

While you are on your way check the surrounding architecture of this level. It is well done by derderak2rot. The lighting is great and the music makes it complete.

Here you see an outside view of the way you walk. Clear those corridors from any enemy you encounter.

Right well next you notice you are getting closer to the main room. Here are skaarjs guarding a captured queen. I believe they stolen the teleporter knowledge from this queen and made it more advanced. So they can time travel with the teleport capability from the queen.

Teleporter room

When you cleared the room above from enemy presence you come into the teleporter room from where they can time travel to another time area. This room is heavily protected by skaarjs first kill all skaarjs. There are spawned more Skaarj in this room then you find when you enter. So watch your six.

When you have killed all skaarjs find a way to activate the teleporter. Those heavy doors you see is the entrence and should open. Somehow there should be a manner to open them. Your object figure it out and go trough the teleporter!.

The other time area

Once outside in the other time area you find out you are teleported to the time where the dino's ruled the world. Don't try to be nice to the dino's because they will hate your guts when they see you. I believe they did not eat for a long time because they all are trying to eat you. But there is no need to worry because you are armed with our best weapons.

There is even an hidden area where you find a sniper gun and some extra health and protective gear. I would advice go look for that asap because it will make your live more easy in this dino area.

Here you have a few other kind of dino's you will see on the map. There are more types which are not captured, but that is for you to explore. Your goal here is to find a few stones, when you found all of them the door from the generator temple will open up.

Derderak2rot had done a great job on making this level. The lighting and the music fits the scenes, the architecture is great. It will be tempting to play the map over and over again. It is a new expierence this well designed map with dino's. The dino's are fast and come over the ground and from the skys to eat you. Altho 2006 is just started this map will be running for the title best map of 2006 ;-).

I hope you all will enjoy the map as much as --=newb=--, --=Nr.2000=--, Cardi and me do. Now i named these players, thnx for testing and bug tracking this map to make it even better, guys..
